Biltmore Workforce Management is seeking a Retail Receiving Associate to help manage incoming shipments at the Retail Fulfillment Center. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity, supporting the department, leadership, and company.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse/retail experience, be able to operate warehouse equipment, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This is a part-time position with a schedule of 20–29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments from local vendors, freight lines, FedEx, and UPS Ground.
• Safely unload shipments by hand, pallet jack, or forklift depending on delivery method.
• Ensure shipping counts match the Bill of Lading or other documentation, noting any discrepancies.
• Inspect all shipments for exterior damage upon arrival, noting any damage.
• Accurately log all receipts.
• Match purchase orders and invoices to product, then move product in line to be processed.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership on processing priority orders.
• Prepare Return to Vendor items for shipping.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with other retail areas and various departments.
• Engage visitors and drivers with a pleasant demeanor and positive attitude.
• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Log and receive items for other departments as necessary and arrange for pickup.

The starting pay range for this position begins at $17.09/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Flex: A position working an average of 20-29 hours per week (between 1000 - 1559 hours/year.

• 5. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Time management and accuracy are essential.
• 6. Computer skills required. Ability to use inventory management software, MS Office, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements

• 1. Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads regularly.
• 2. Ability to operate forklifts.
