Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in New Carlisle, Ohio. You will assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to supporting customers, and you will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, be flexible to walk, stand, and perform various physical tasks, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely and efficiently.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protecting cash/assets.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
