Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Hazleton, PA, is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, merchandising, and frontline customer service. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

The role requires customer service experience, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will be cross-trained to cover front-end duties as needed, while upholding safety and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily store operations, including merchandising and front-end duties as needed
• Providing a clean, welcoming environment and professional customer interactions
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and ensuring cash security
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including restrooms and floors
• Performing other duties as assigned by leadership
