Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Madawaska, Maine is seeking store associates for front-end and service desk roles. You will perform cashier and service desk duties, assist with store operations, and help maintain a safe, welcoming shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements (18 years of age).
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service desk/kiosk.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assign fixed activities to front-end and service desk staff during idle periods.
• Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety standards and report needed repairs.
• Perform cashier and service desk/kiosk tasks as trained.
• Support general housekeeping and sanitation per policy.
