Job summary

Nordstrom Rack is hiring sales and customer service team members in a fast-paced retail environment. You will engage customers, process transactions at the POS, assist with fitting rooms, and help keep the sales floor clean and merchandise organized.

You’ll rotate through departments and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere. Applicants should be comfortable standing 6-8 hours, able to lift light items, and motivated to promote Nordstrom Rewards and ongoing promotions.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runways ready, sized and filled throughout the day.
• Assist customers at the register across platforms (in-store, online, and mobile) using the POS system.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and sorting/returning clothing to the floor.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience by organizing clothing on the sales floor.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise with in-store technologies and adhere to standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards programs and other initiatives.
