Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to support daily store operations and drive sales while upholding company standards. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring proper cash handling, maintaining store appearance and training new hires.

Ability to work nights and weekends is expected. This position reports to store management and may act as supervisor during scheduled hours.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or progress toward supervisory duties.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Experience with cash register operations and sales records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and sales to meet budget goals.
• Perform supervisory duties during assigned shifts.
• Maintain clean, attractive store displays and presentation of merchandise.
• Balance cash receipts and prepare deposits daily.
• Train and mentor Sales Floor Associates and trainees.
• Enforce safety, policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
