Job summary

Flagstar Bank seeks a Financial Consultant to retain and expand customer relationships and drive new retail Investment and Insurance opportunities. You will advise clients and coordinate with branches to optimize financial positions based on goals and risk tolerance.

The role includes coaching licensed bankers, maintaining regulatory compliance, completing paperwork promptly, and arranging client meetings to grow the Book of Business. Strong sales and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
• Minimum experience required: 2+ Years of retail sales.
• Licenses: Life, Health and Accident licenses; Series 7; Series 63/66 as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meets with customers or prospects to discuss financial needs and outline appropriate financial products.
• Builds and maintains relationships with retail bank branches.
• Directs investment sales for licensed bankers through coaching, training, goals, and daily support.
• Ensure compliance and manage paperwork in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments and document results; provide reports.
