Job summary

Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. This field-based role requires daily local travel and a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will educate merchants on client financial services, place in-store signage, and document activity using mobile tools while aligning with leadership to meet territory goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
• Field-based position with daily travel within your assigned territory.
• Approximately 22-35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling.
• Mix of in-store engagement, driving, and administrative follow-up.
• Independent work style with strong support from leadership and training teams.
