Hy-Vee is seeking a Retail Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace electrical/mechanical components across our grocery equipment and facilities. You will schedule tasks, perform preventative maintenance, and rotate between four to five Hy-Vee stores in surrounding areas.

Candidates should hold HVAC and refrigeration certifications, a valid driver's license, and OSHA safety training. The role involves physical work in a retail store setting and compliance with safety

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC and refrigeration certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between stores.
• OSHA safety training completed.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses problems with and performs maintenance, repairs and part replacement on all equipment.
• Maintains equipment and building to ensure good working order and OSHA compliance.
• Establishes work orders and schedules tasks.
• Rotates between four to five stores in surrounding areas.
• Plans expansions and estimates equipment, lighting, fixtures needed; makes recommendations to supervisor.
• Keeps work area, tools and equipment clean and properly placed.
• Creates maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance.
• Reports to work as scheduled.
