Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Retail Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and building systems across multiple store locations. The role requires coordination of work orders, scheduling, and collaboration with vendors to ensure reliable store operations.

Responsibilities include rotations across four to five stores, maintaining safety standards, and proactive maintenance planning. A high school diploma, HVAC certification, and EPA/Verisae knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC & Refrigeration Certification required.
• Verisae refrigerant management system knowledge preferred.
• OSHA safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses problems with and performs maintenance, repairs, and part replacement on equipment and building.
• Establishes work orders and schedules to implement tasks across stores.
• Repairs building components and coordinates with suppliers/vendors as needed.
• Rotates between four to five Hy-Vee stores in surrounding areas to service equipment.
• Maintains safety, OSHA compliance, and keeps work areas clean and orderly.
