Job summary

Aesop in New York invites a Retail Consultant to welcome customers, listen, and guide them to products that fit their needs. You will demonstrate products on-site and create an inclusive, exemplary shopping experience that supports our commercial goals.

You will work in a team, apply strong communication and problem-solving skills, and share curiosity about skin, hair, body, fragrance and home categories. The role operates on-site and offers opportunities for development and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within a customer service role or environment.
• Effective selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.
• Ability to consistently introduce Aesop products to clients through hand demonstrations.
• History of successfully participating in and contributing to a team.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize empathy to manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive and inclusive experience for all.
• Open mindset and deep curiosity to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of skin care and skin care industry (advantageous).
• Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance and home categories (advantageous).
• This position operates an on-site working pattern.
