Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. You will greet Customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and assist with merchandise presentation and knowledge across departments.

Responsibilities include operating the register, handling transactions, stocking, and maintaining safety on the sales floor while representing the Ross brand with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance throughout the shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Assist customers with merchandise questions and locating items across departments.
• Operate POS and handle transactions accurately while following MOS and other policies.
• Support loss prevention by remaining aware of safety and security protocols on the sales floor.
• Engage in daily tasks including stocking, cleaning, and restocking to support store operations.
