Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas in Burleson is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant to warmly receive donated goods, issue receipts, and sort items per guidelines. You will use equipment to move donations and help keep interior and exterior donation areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Ability to meet production quotas.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment, tablets, receipt printer; use pushcart, hand truck, pallet-jack, barrels, boxes; and make decisions based on quality of donated products.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Accept donated goods from donors and provide receipts.
• Sort donations and track items per guidelines.
• Move donations using carts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Maintain clean and organized donation areas inside and outside.
• Load and unload company trucks and trailers as needed.
• Assist with general store cleaning and other duties.
