Job summary

Serena & Lily, a lifestyle and home furnishings brand, seeks Associates/Design Advisors for our Palo Alto, CA storefront. You’ll create a best-in-class client experience through sales and service, acting as brand steward and cultivating client relationships with exceptional design-focused support.

The role is full-time with weekends and some summer holidays. We offer a generous benefits package, 401k eligibility, PTO, and a team-based incentive program.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail or design-related sales experience.
• Excellent communication and willingness to engage with clients.
• Ability to sell using product knowledge and design inspiration.
• Proficient with MacBook for web, email and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, on-brand client experience in-store and virtually.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations to drive sales.
• Resolve client needs quickly through collaboration with leadership.
• Drive customer retention and loyalty via follow-up on orders and quotes.
• Assist with receipt of shipments, transfers, and merchandising to brand standards.
• Proactively engage clients, including Trade Program members.
