Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Birmingham store is seeking a team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. You’ll deliver an excellent customer experience and help maintain a clean, organized store.

You will train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, organize back stock, uphold signage standards, and assist in safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards.
• Ensures Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, while working as a team.
• Maintains a positive customer experience and a clean, organized store.
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
• Organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes and supports store shrink reduction goals and safety protocols.
