Job summary

Elder's ACE Hardware in Cleveland, TN is seeking a motivated retail team member to support daily operations and customer service. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and assist with price tags, promotions, and special orders. Strong computer skills and data handling are required, with bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year retail experience.
• Proficient with computer systems and related software.
• Bilingual Spanish verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise as arranged by management.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store manager.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays and price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays, watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Watch for shoplifters and act per Elder’s policy to discourage theft.
• Provide excellent customer service and interaction to prevent shoplifting.
