Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Good strategic planning and business acumen skills.
• Good knowledge of retail store operations; knowledge of retail management systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products preferred.
• Spanish communication is highly desirable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations to meet company goals and KPIs.
• Order and maintain inventory, ensure product freshness and quality.
• Review received orders for amount, quality, count or weight.
• Manage a team responsible for stocking, production, and related tasks.
• Maintain familiarity with products carried in department and store-wide.
• Know ad items, special prices, coupon deals and rewards programs.
• Communicate and execute Flight Plans to company standards.
• Support scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll for department.
• Implement Our Winning Recipe and model core values and competencies.
• Develop staffing, training, performance management, and career development.
• Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts.
• Attend daily huddles and district meetings as required.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked department per Prime Time standards.
• Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and corrective actions taken.

• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines.
• Support cross-department tasks as needed.
