Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months Fred Meyer experience and 1–2 years related retail experience; or combination.
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in Alaska).
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends/nights on a regular basis.
• Ability to travel independently on a rare basis.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Accuracy/attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms/processes.
• Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines.
• Ability to continue education.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to customers; perform cashier functions.
• Maintain compliance with signing, merchandising, recovery, fixtures usage and maintenance standards.
• Verify ads are in stock and perform ad audits.
• Process and file mail; maintain RMS procedures.
• Participate in shrink control and EAS standards.
• Maintain awareness of overstock/understock conditions.
• Follow up on daily tours and time/attendance.
• Respond to customer comments/requests and incidents.
• Complete call backs/verify credits; process intersections.
• Promote and follow Kroger initiatives; reflect Our People Are Great.
