Job summary

You will assist the department manager in meeting sales goals and uphold our Customer 1st strategy across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of Drug GM specials and promote related items.
• Review sell-by dates and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to ads and promotions.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Inspect equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to customers including minors and seniors as required.
• Perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
