Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience both internally and externally
• Promote honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
• Manage truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing standards
• Ensure merchandise is correctly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty for efficient flow of goods
• Ensure tasks are completed according to store plans; prioritize as needed
• Monitor team productivity and coach as necessary
• Organize and rotate back stock for replenishment
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the backroom
• Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates about priorities and progress
• Provide and accept feedback and recognition
• Partner with management on training needs
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promote credit and loyalty programs
• Support shrink reduction initiatives
• Maintain a safe environment and promote safety awareness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends

• Experience: 1 year retail, 6 months leadership
