Job summary

Peacock Alley, Inc. is seeking a warm, polished Retail Sales Associate for our Dallas showroom. You will guide customers through luxury linens, provide styling recommendations, and maintain an immaculate, organized store environment.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in on-site retail or luxury brand settings, strong communication skills, and a passion for beautiful home products. Ability to work weekends/holidays is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

The Role

We are looking for a warm, polished, and product-passionate Retail Sales Associate to join our Dallas store team. This is more than a sales role — you'll be a trusted style advisor, brand ambassador, and hospitality expert, guiding customers through a truly elevated shopping experience. What You'll Do

Customer Service & Sales

• Welcome and engage customers with warmth and professionalism befitting a luxury brand
• Guide customers through our collections with expert knowledge of fabrics, care, and design pairings
• Offer personalized styling recommendations to help customers build cohesive bedroom and bath collections
• Cultivate lasting relationships with repeat clientele through attentive follow-up
• Achieve individual and store sales goals through consultative, customer-first selling
• Handle returns, exchanges, and inquiries with grace and professionalism
• Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system (Shopify)

Product & Brand Knowledge

• Become an expert on Peacock Alley's product lines, materials, and seasonal collections
• Share the brand's heritage and craftsmanship story in a natural, compelling way
• Support visual merchandising and display standards to keep the showroom flawless

Store Operations

• Maintain a beautifully presented, organized store environment at all times
• Receive, tag, and stock merchandise; assist with inventory counts
• Process special orders and communicate timelines to customers
• Support opening and closing procedures and adhere to all loss prevention policies

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of on-site retail or customer service experience; luxury, home décor, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred
• A genuine passion for beautiful products and a natural ability to connect with customers
• High degree of professionalism and personal presentation consistent with a luxury environment
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in design, fashion, or hospitality a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

On-Site Location

Compensation

• Peacock Alley offers a competitive benefits package plus an hourly rate of $21.00 per hour plus commissions.
