Join to apply for the Retail - Customer Service Team Member role at Michaels Stores.

Location: Store - DC-RESTON, VA

Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintaining store recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises.

Responsibilities include:

1. Helping customers locate products and providing solutions
2. Executing cash handling to standards for a quick checkout
3. Engaging customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and completing enrollments
4. Educating customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
5. Supporting Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
6. Participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
7. Completing merchandise recovery, returns, and store maintenance
8. Performing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
9. Supporting shrink and safety programs
10. Adhering to SOPs and company policies for compliance
11. Interacting respectfully with others, maintaining a positive image, and role modeling for team members
12. Cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to move throughout the store, including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching
• Lifting heavy boxes and using ladders for high shelves

Work Environment:

• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings
