Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage cash, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience. Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting with customers and associates
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned*
