Job summary

H-E-B in Texas is hiring a Customer Service Representative to maintain a well-stocked, clean department and deliver superior service to shoppers. You will stock shelves, rotate products, assist with inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met throughout the shift.

You will answer questions, help customers find items, suggest products, and support the store's merchandising goals across Beauty, Grocery, and General Merchandise areas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and rotates items as needed.
• Assists with inventory control; loads, unloads, and moves product.
• Organizes, cleans, and prepares back area for the night crew and incoming trucks.
• Organizes merchandise on pallets to present department to customers.
• Ensures integrity of shelf tags and signage; may create signage.
• Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation.
• Checks shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness.
• Builds, stocks, maintains, and takes down store displays.
• Performs duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed.
• Provides superior customer service and helps customers locate products.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs.
