Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Miami, FL is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store tidy and stocked. You will help unload merchandise, maintain safety, and provide friendly service at the register.

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is welcome. Opportunities for growth exist within a national discount retailer, with benefits and team support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
