Job summary

Family Dollar in Pinebluff, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process sales at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked while delivering a friendly shopping experience.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, strong communication, and prior customer service in retail or related environments; part-time hours, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to safety and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
