Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Memphis, TN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, and help at the cash register. You will contribute to a clean, welcoming shopping environment while working cross-functionally with team members on front-end duties as needed.

The role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including merchandising and stock during shifts.
• Support customers and process transactions at the cash register.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and back-of-house organization.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Protect cash and company assets during handling and checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
