Job summary

Dollar Tree in Shillington, PA seeks a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, merchandising, and friendly customer interactions. You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, maintaining cleanliness, handling transactions, and protecting company assets while delivering an inviting shopping experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High level of integrity required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
