Job summary

Dollar Tree in Hazleton, PA is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to customer assistance, ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and neat presentation.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
