Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate II in Modesto, CA. You will support daily store operations, assist customers, stock and merchandise, and cross-train for front-end duties including cash register transactions.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, prioritize customer satisfaction, maintain clean, safe store conditions, and follow instructions to ensure accurate cash handling and positive interactions with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
