Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Avon, OH is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers locate products. You’ll ensure a fast checkout experience and assist with unloading trucks and stocking merchandise to keep the store well stocked.

You will engage customers with the Rewards program, participate in BOPIS/SFS processes, and support store safety and adherence to SOPs. The role requires standing, walking and occasional lifting throughout shifts, including nights

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to assist with merchandise stocking and checkout duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling
• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, maintain planograms and recovery standards
• Promote the Michaels Rewards program and enroll customers when appropriate
• Assist with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
• Support store safety, shrink programs, and SOP adherence
