Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking team members to deliver fast, friendly service in a dynamic retail and food service environment. You will help customers, process transactions, and uphold food safety standards, all while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

No prior experience is required; training is provided, and flexibility with scheduling is essential to support our 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible shifts and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balance cash register by processing transactions and suggesting add-on sales.
• Maintain food safety standards for fresh food and deli products using available tools.
• Clean and maintain your work area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and Facility Maintenance.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
