Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers to join a fast-paced team. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required to start delivering fast, accurate service to customers.

You will balance a cash register, handle transactions, and support additional sales while following all laws. You may assist with food safety and cleaning duties, with opportunities to cross-train in other departments, and you must be able to move 25+ pounds in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.

Responsibilities

• Balance a cash register and complete customer transactions.
• Offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure food safety of fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
