Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops welcomes motivated cashiers to join our team in Texas. You will handle customer transactions accurately, assist shoppers, and maintain a clean, friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Using various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds; ability to work in various temperatures.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
