Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, and keep the store clean and stocked in Atlanta, GA. You will assist shoppers, process transactions, protect cash, and support unloading and stocking while maintaining a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior retail or service experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
