Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, and help with stocking and unloading trucks.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service in retail or related fields. Lifting up to 50 lbs and physical tasks are involved. Part-time schedule in Snellville, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash, keep areas neat.
