Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and do frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
