Family Dollar Stores Of Connecticut LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Enfield store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment for all visitors and teammates.

The role requires reliable teamwork, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication to support store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal
• Other duties as assigned
