Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Connecticut LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Naugatuck, CT store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help stock and unload shipments.

The role requires good customer service, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and maintain a clean, safe store area. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
