Job summary

Family Dollar in Springfield, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The role is part-time and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, retail or service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will support stocking, unloading deliveries, and provide friendly, professional service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
