Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. The role supports customers, processes sales at the register, and ensures the store is stocked and clean. Part-time hours are available at our New Orleans location in Louisiana.

Candidate should have strong customer service skills, be able to lift 30–50 lbs, and follow procedures with accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
