Dollar Tree Stores INC in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate II to help with daily store operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will support the cash register and front-end duties as needed while maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience in retail or similar settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking and standing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily store operations, from merchandising to customer service
• Cross-training to support cash register and front-end duties
• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the store, including bathrooms and floors
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and safeguarding cash/assets
• Performing other duties as assigned
