Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Mount Airy, NC to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload trucks while keeping the store clean and welcoming.

The position is part-time and requires reliable, friendly service, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties such as standing, walking, stooping, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
