Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support a busy Jeffersonville store. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help stock shelves while delivering a friendly shopping experience.

Part-time team member duties include maintaining store cleanliness, unloading and stocking merchandise, and ensuring safety and accuracy in cash handling. Strong communication and problem-solving are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
