Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

Key responsibilities include ensuring security of cash, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and providing friendly, professional service to customers and team members. Part-time role based in Rutland, Vermont.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
