Job summary

Family Dollar in Holmes, PA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized. You will greet shoppers, assist with inquiries, and maintain a safe, friendly environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail/customer service experience is preferred. The position involves unloading deliveries, protecting cash/assets, and performing varied duties to support store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail customer service experience preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and general neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
