Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Associate in Princess Anne, Maryland. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and handle sales transactions at the register.

You will help stock, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for delivering a positive shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–49 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash removed, areas neat and presentable.
