Job summary

Family Dollar in Milford, Utah is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions, and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere. You will assist with stocking, unloading merchandise, and keeping the store clean and organized, while ensuring safety and friendly service.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a team-focused environment that values helpful, professional interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
