Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC is seeking a Part-time cashier to assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

You will handle merchandise receiving, restocking, and maintain a safe, friendly environment while following company procedures. This role requires strong customer service, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
