Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time hours are available at our Yankton, SD location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage transactions at cash register and ensure accuracy of sales.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and stock replenishment.
